I love September and October on Dartmoor, there is something very potent in the shift that happens over autumn in nature, it feels good to be outside breathing in that air and to sense our own body and beings aligning with the greater natural rhythms. I especially love wild camping this time of year as daylight hours are perfect for waking up in time to see the sunrise during breakfast and sunset happens before bedtime which gives more time to experience the gorgeous quiet dark nights of Dartmoor with the immense starry skies.. The hills turn towards caramel again, mushrooms pop up all over, the Rowen and the Hawthorn trees are laden with red berries and the bracken turn from green to yellow to orange and then to a beautiful copper, redefining the hills.
I would love to welcome you on a weekend on Dartmoor
