July is perhaps the loveliest of the summer months on Dartmoor.

Everything is just about peeking in green delight, warm days give ample opportunity for wild swimming in the rivers, the ferny-bracken has turned jungle like and the grass sways tall with ripe seed heads catching the morning dew. This is also a wonderful time of year to go on sunset walks in the long light evenings as the hills turn a golden purple hue.

Start time: Totnes station on Saturday the 10h. 12.00 am.

End time: Totnes station Monday the 12th. 4.00 pm.

The 9.03 am train from London Paddington will get you to Totnes 11.52 am
